Chickpeas are used in almost all kitchens, to prepare a Chickpea Tagine:

Put some oil in a casserole and add cumin, paprika, ginger then mix.

Add some vegetables and fry for 5 minutes, then add 250 ml of water, saffron and tomatoes.

Cover and cook for 10 minutes, then add the chickpeas and cook for another 10 minutes until the vegetables are tender.
